The stone structure dates back to the mid-16th century. In the 1990s, it was converted to an accommodation facility. Since 2012, the spacious rooms have been renovated, equipping them with every comfort, taking care of both the interior, organized in large rooms on 3 levels, and the exterior, with the aim of creating the ideal place to stay lovers of nature, tranquility and well-being.

It is currently arranged as follows:

On the ground floor there is the kitchen, the restaurant with a large lounge, the lift room, two bathrooms with dressing room and a large external courtyard of approximately 1100 m2 where there is also a warehouse and a technical room.

The first floor contains a large living room currently used as a bar, three rooms and two bathrooms with ante-bathrooms. This floor can easily be converted back into a living area or additional rooms in the event of interest in residential use.

On the second floor there are five bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom.

It is possible to create a spa center as a usable thermal aquifer has been identified in the land, a technical report on this is available.

The road leading to Contignano intersects with ancient cross roads that lead to the town of Pienza and to the other beautiful villages of the Val d’Orcia. The Val di Chiana is also very close and accessible: Chianciano Terme and Montepulciano are about 20 minutes away by car, so the property can be a starting point for cultural and food and wine itineraries.
